This pendant is carved from K2 Granite, and strung with a macrame knotted necklace. The clasp is sterling silver.

K2 Granite is found only in the peaks of the world’s second highest mountain, on the Pakistani side of the border with China. It is formed from Quartz, Muscovite, Biotite and Sodium, and then Azurite droplets formed during a secondary melt.
