Jo Avalon’s Saturday Oracle
Here is this Saturday’s (now Sunday’s) Oracle Inspiration for you! Let’s get into it. Take a minute to settle, centre, and take a cleansing breath – ask, ‘which card holds an inspirational message for me?’ and choose your card from today’s Oracle offering, either Left, Middle, or Right. As always, the reveal is further down this post – enjoy!
It’s Sunday and a third quarter Moon in Libra today, which has an energy of keeping the peace, for now. If you’ve been decluttering, maybe it’s good to let the dust settle before you focus on the next section. I jokingly commented to my husband last weekend that he seems nervous when I start doing a clear-up, and he agreed 😳. So, I’ll continue to just chip away at it so it’s not so dramatic 😂. I need to do it for my own mental health, but I don’t need to upset others at the same time, right?
Apologies for this post being a day late. I spent a lovely day with family for lunch, and then a great phone conversation with an old friend. Then it was dinner, and I’ve restarted my after-dinner walk around the block and then it was 11pm 😂. So here we are, mid-morning on Sunday!! So, enough rambling, are you ready for your message?……Today’s cards are from Angel Wisdom Tarot by Radleigh Valentine.
Left Card:
7 of Fire encourages you to stand up for yourself and your beliefs! Have confidence to challenge those in power but also choose your battles wisely. This card is a a message that offers a choice so that you can use your precious energy wisely. On one hand, you can choose to go hard, stand your ground, push for what it is that you know is right or that you know is the right way forward, the right position to take. OR, if you’re not that fussed on the outcome, it doesn’t light a fire under you or it’s not too inconvenient to live with, then don’t choose this battle, hold your energy until there is a situation that you are more invested in the right outcome to put your energy into. Affirmation – I am strong enough to know when to use my energy and when to save it.
Middle Card:
Knight of Water is romantic, flirtatious, introspective, fickle. This knight is ready to sweep you off your feet, or you are ready to take off on a whim, a spontaneous adventure. The caution here is that the knight is always searching for the excitement, the heart flutter and risks repeating patterns that may not be so healthy in the long run. Enjoy the fun but be really honest about whether it’s real and will contribute to your long-term well-being. Last week we talked about creating that balance between work and pleasure, this week, don’t let the pendulum swing too far out of balance. Affirmation – I enjoy lighter emotional experiences while remaining grounded.
Right Card:
Knight of Fire is passionate, confident, charismatic, restless. This knight is action-packed, moss doesn’t grow under your feet when you’re in this mode 😂, the energy is intoxicating for you and others around you. Following your instincts, multitasking, the confidence to start over if needed are all part of the knight’s energy. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get moving, this may well be that sign, but do take care to actually finish the task at hand, and having a back-up plan won’t go astray either! Affirmation – I move forward with passion and energy.
Three cards together:
Seven of Fire offers you the choice to choose your battles – if you do dig in, do it wholeheartedly. Otherwise, let it go and conserve your energy. The Knight of Water will want to sweep you up in a whirlwind of excitement and passion, which will seem like the most fun in ages, but don’t lose your head and have a back-up plan for when you come back to earth. The Knight of Fire will arrive to get you moving again, trust your instincts and embody self-confidence, but before you leap on his horse, commit to staying focused to complete the task and have a plan in place for when you return from the wiild ride. Now’s not the time to sit back and go with the flow! Excitement ahead!
