In these times of deep change, a return to sacred ceremony seems necessary – medicinal, even urgent: for the wholing and healing of each and all, for the remembering of who and where we are.

Participating consciously in the sacred process of Earth’s everyday journey around Sun, the wheel of the year, is a Poiesis … the making of a world.  It is to align one’s small self with the creative cosmos, expressed in Her everyday Creativity.

These meditations are based on the PaGaian Seasonal ceremonial class meetings over decades at MoonCourt, Blue Mountains, Australia. Each meditation is a ceremony/ritual in itself.  It requires your active creation of a simple altar and gather of props to support the experience and embodiment of the process.  It is the nature of PaGaian Cosmology to actually “eat the pear”: that is, to actually do ceremony, not just discuss it.  These PaGaian Cosmology meditations, when participated in fully, will facilitate a magical process, wherein you may expect outcomes. 

Though these meditations are prescription: that is, pre-scribing a creative process, I allow room within that for any person or group vary some things for themselves.  Thus I often say “perhaps” or “as you wish” or “you may”: that is my style, and it is meant to allow space for your own scribing/authoring within the cosmology offered to you.

Glenys Livingstone Ph D (Social Ecology) is the author of PaGaian Cosmology: Re-inventing Earth-based Goddess Religion.  She has been on a Goddess path since 1979, which has included diverse spiritualities and a scientific perspective, inner and communal work as well as academic scholarship.  She lives with her partner Taffy (Robert) Seaborne in Qld, previously Blue Mountains, where she teaches, writes, and is a celebrant/priestess of EarthGaia’s Seasonal Moments as they are expressed in her place.
