Jo Avalon’s Third Quarter Moon Guidance – 8 Jul 2026

Wednesday 8 July is a Third Quarter – Waning Crescent Moon in Aries. As Aries energy is very active, you might feel that time is running out to complete what you started; however, you could use that energy to give you an extra push to finish something mundane and unexciting, or tie up the loose ends that usually get left aside when we move onto the next project. The key thing is not to rush ahead of yourself, and to proceed at your own comfortable pace.

Third Quarter Moon energy brings completion, forgiveness and transformation.
You could reflect on intentions set earlier in the lunar month, or even up to 9 months ago and assess the actions and decisions taken in support of those intentions. Waning Crescent Moon energy invites surrender and energy clearing to enable insights and learning to settle in.

You could ask yourself: How do I feel about what has occurred since I set my intention? What and/or Who am I grateful for (things, experiences)? What do I feel is holding me back from achieving my goals? How can I use these insights and perspectives to improve my life? How can I rest and recuperate?

The energy here is of a fulfilling completion and an opportunity to pause, to reflect, to understand, to integrate and, importantly, to celebrate. Zoom out from your close-up vision to see how your efforts fit into the bigger picture. Connect with other like-purposed souls to share perspectives and deepen your understanding and empathy.
