Jo Avalon’s Saturday Afternoon Oracle

Jo Avalon’s Saturday Afternoon Oracle

Moon Phases: Tomorrow is a 'Full Moon in Libra’ – the full moon has the energy of blossoming, it's the most powerful time of the month where all dreams, aspirations and projects come to fruition and you reap the rewards of your hard work – time to celebrate.  Libra lends the energy of beauty and partnerships.

I hope you are doing something enjoyable today and ready for this Saturday’s Oracle Inspiration.

So, why not take a minute to make a cuppa, settle, centre, and take a deep breath – ask, ‘which card holds an inspirational message for me?’ and choose your card from today’s Oracle offering, either Left, Middle, or Right. As always, the reveal is further down this post – enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who attended the live crystal sales last week, we had a lot of fun!  Thank you also to everyone who found treasures on my website throughout the New Moon sale – I hope you love everything you chose :).

Now, are you ready for your message?……Today’s cards are from the Bonestone & Earthflesh Tarot by Avalon Cameron, artwork by Ana Tourian.

The Left card is the Three of Cups

The Caulden Sisters are a force to be reckoned with. They gather for every full moon, every sabbath, every major astrological event to work the cauldron of creation.  They laugh, they sing, they hug, and they cry. Together, they create the most magical of elexirs. Their magic infuses the unified tribe with blessings and purpose. The work they do stabilises the energy of the land and keeps the hearts and minds of the people open. Their magic is integral to the harmony of the land. To cross even one of the Cauldron Sisters is to relinquish all that is good in your life.  This card suggests that you may have found your tribe, your community. It suggests a great celebration with great company. Joy, merriment, laughter and libations are around the corner. It may signal a time of recognising the blessings in your life and you may be filled with a deep sense of gratitude that brings a sense of wholeness and belonging in your life.

The Middle card is Six of Cups

The farmer comes every day to the grave of his wife. Every day he brings with him a posy of forget-me-nots, a symbolic gesture of his constant affection for his beloved wife. Although time may have aged him, and the land that he toils has slowly depleted, he still comes, every day. The love and his heart for his wife will never fade. She was everything. Now that he is left alone in this world, he lives every day in a state of nostalgia. This card suggests you are going through a period of deep nostalgia. There is something beautiful about remembering. When we remember, we honour the past and the loved ones who were an integral part of their past. It can also suggest that fragments of your past have been well utilised in your present. The lessons you have learnt and the sorrows you have dealt with are now assisting you in achieving success in your endeavours. You could also be entering a phase of bliss and are free to express your sensual nature without fear or guilt. This card could also inspire you to be generous with your affections towards others, and an opportunity to pay it forward : the rewards are endless in nature.

The Right card is The Sun

At the time of the Summer Solstice, when the days are longer than the nights, the sun shines its radiant light on all, warming from the inside out. This natural radiance causes an abundant expression that consumes the landscapes and gladdens the winter-weary heart. This is the time of the Wild Solar Dance …… where the Earth awakens and blesses the land with prosperity and happiness.  The Sun card brightens even the most foreboding of cards. There is exuberant magic to the Sun that brings out optimism and the bright side of any situation.  It heralds a time of celebration and personal sovereignty that leads to a triumphant outcome in most situations. The Sun is the happiest card in the Tarot. You are being assisted in seeing through the darkness of any situation, so you can take the necessary steps to heal.  You are encouraged to assume a confident stance and it's a timely reminder to allow yourself to be seen for your merits. You can choose to be happy, to make happiness a priority and to relish the beauty of simple moments.
