Jo Avalon’s Saturday Oracle

Jo Avalon’s Saturday Oracle

I hope you are doing something enjoyable today and are ready for this Saturday’s Oracle Inspiration. It is a different style this week, using cards with a difference. Let’s get into it!

Current Moon Phase: A ‘Waning Crescent Moon in Taurus’

  • The waning crescent moon has the energy of surrender, taking care to Let Go, trying not to control the world around you. To feel peace, spend time being mindful, going with the flow, surrendering your worries to the Divine.
  • Taurus lends the energy of contentedness and enjoying simple pleasures of life.

So, why not take a minute to settle, centre, and take a deep breath – ask, ‘which card holds an inspirational message for me?’ and choose your card from today’s Oracle offering, either Left, Middle, or Right. As always, the reveal is further down this post – enjoy!

Have you heard about our new event ‘Your Soul Expo’ being held in Wyong in Springtime? This link takes you to the Facebook event where you can mark your interest/going and keep up to date with the guest presenters and stallholders – I really look forward to welcoming you there!

Now, are you ready for your message?……Today’s cards are from Divine Tea Time Inspiration Cards deck by Tracy Loughlin. If you are intrigued by this concept, like I was, her is a link to an Instagram video interview of Tracey in which she talks about how and why she created this deck 🙂

The Left card is Cherry Blossom Tea for Calming

“Drop 3 preserved Cherry Blossoms into a cup, pour boiling water over and steep for 30 seconds. Place blossoms in a new cup and cover with hot water – you can use the first water to add saltiness.”

Sip your tea slowly, allowing the fragrance to fill your senses and the warm liquid to trigger ‘calming thoughts’ into your mind.

The Middle card Lavender &
Chamomile Tea for Relaxing

“Place 1 spoon of fresh Chamomile Flowers, half a spoon of fresh Lavender and a sprig of Mint in a jug. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over and steep for 5 minutes then strain.”

Sip your tea slowly, allowing your senses to discern the flavours and let your muscles relax with each mouthful.

The Right card is Apple & Ginger Tea for Balancing

“Peel and slice 2 Apples and add a thumb-sized piece of grated Ginger into a pot with 3 cups of water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Cool slightly then blend till smooth. Drink while still warm.”

Sip your tea slowly and feel your senses discern the sweetness of the Apple and the zing of the Ginger, leading to balance in flavour and your energy.

I hope you find these tea time messages are supportive to you today, I do enjoy preparing them for you – leave a comment below if you like, I’d love to hear from you. If I have sent you here from Facebook or Instagram and you would rather receive the Saturday Afternoon Oracle directly into your inbox, then please sign up for a newsletter at the right of this page.
