Jo Avalon’s Weekly News and Oracle
Hello and Welcome 😊. It’s been packing stations here this week – receiving new stock and preparing for my joint adventure to Broken Hill this coming week (see the event on Avalon’s Facebook page).
I also had time to create this Agate suncatcher – it’s been in my head for over a year and it was great to sit down and put pieces together and see it come to life. I have more on the board, but this one is the practice one. I’ve reused a shell necklace I had as a teen (yes, I know 🤣), some feathers I’ve found at home and bought the emu feathers. I’m looking forward to getting back to make more. My goodness though, glueing is a messy business 🤣.
Now, let’s get into today’s Oracle Inspiration for you! It’s Sunday 28 May and a First Quarter Moon in Virgo. You may feel the need to organise everything. Remember that beauty and Divine order does exist within the mess and chaos, and catching glimpses of that is like catching a rainbow after a storm. The imperfections of life can inspire and offer solutions too. Learn to trust life to provide you spiritual understanding of your path or soul purpose.
Now, are you ready for your message ?……Today’s cards are from Modern Mystic Mantras (Lucy Moon Co).
Left Card:
You are not your thoughts – how often do you assume that others see in you what you think about yourself? We don’t. We all experience each other differently depending on the circumstance of the interactions. None of us know what the other thinks about ourselves and it’s not even the full story. Focus on kindness to yourself and to others (with great respect to boundaries) and let the grip of your thoughts on your sense of peace reduce.
Middle Card:
You can observe but not absorb. Stop consuming toxicity from all forms of media and find peace by listening to your soul speak – Inspiration from others is great but don’t fill your inner space with advice and directions that may not have any relevance to your personal direction. This follows on from the Star card we pulled a couple of weeks ago – Feel your feelings, they are part of your experience, but lift your head up and follow your Star towards your better way of being.
Right Card:
Courage cannot exist without the presence of fear. Allow vulnerability to crack open your chest and joy will flood in – this one is a little more deep for me – I hope it is more obvious to you 🙏. My feeling is that without fear, there would be no need for courage, it would be easy to take a step forward or a leap over the cliff, not knowing what lay ahead. But if you never did that, in spite of the fear, you’d never experience anything more that what you have now.
Three cards together:
Move beyond your thoughts about yourself, open up to the Joy of what’s possible, just over yonder, around the corner, over the hill…. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it, but know that you have what it takes to follow your knowing, your guidance, your path. Don’t allow the chatter around you to pervade your peace and ability to listen to you inner voice.
