The Day I Visited The SWAMP!

The Day I Visited The SWAMP!

I am off work this week (well, if we’re honest, just not going into the office!) but it’s great to have time to visit places off my usual commute.

So, yesterday, I was really pleased to be able to take the time to visit this inspiring and creative space at South Tacoma (near Wyong). Cheralyn Darcey, as the garden curater, is one of the co-founders of Team Swamp.

The Sustainable Wetlands Agricultural Makers Project is “a place for the community to meet, learn and discover the importance and wonder of growing food. A place that practices sustainable methods of growing food, respecting the land and environment. A place of diversity and acceptance. A place for all.” To find out more, check out their website www.swampcentralcoast.com.au and www.facebook.com/swampcentralcoast.

The video is short and a bit jumpy (frankly, I am just happy that it saved and uploaded :D) but I hope you get the feel for the SWAMP – it’s a magical space with heaps of promise and purpose!

Stay tuned for more news on the launch of Cheralyn’s Magical Herb Oracle too!

Enjoy, Jo Avalon
