Incense is precious

Once traded on the silk route, with a price higher than that of gold, incense is precious.  Long used in religious ceremonies, the traders from the Middle East took their treasures of fragrant myrrh and frankincense resin eastwards, and in India, the making of incense matured into an art.  Although incense has changed a lot since those days, its spiritual dimensions still remain, and it is used for meditation and in ceremonies all over the world.
